Hi awesome mod!!

I was inspired to make a vid by a comment responding to a fill here (the writer of the fic and the commenter both approve): http://community.livejournal.com/tsn_kinkmeme/1522.html?thread=2262514#t2262514

I was wondering where I should post a link when it's done-- in that thread or in the discussion post (or both)?

it's fine to post it as a fill to the comments! all media forms are welcome :)

What does Round 1 in the fill list indicate?

round one or round two dictates which post the prompt/fill is posted to.

Fill List?

Just wondering, is the fill list only for fills since the post, or for all fills which haven't yet been archived on Delicious?

Re: Fill List?

only a fill list for fills since the post went up - i'm starting on round two prompts today and once those are done, i'll go back and change what's been filled since on delicious.

May I make a suggestion about threading? Some other kinkmemes I've been on have had rules for threading fills like so: you post a 'claim' comment as a reply to the prompt, and then post all the parts of the fill as a reply to the claim comment. It makes for much more clean-looking posting, especially when there is more than one WIP fill for a prompt or with WIPs that get many comments.

I think some people are already using this (or a similar) format, and obviously you don't have to make it a rule, but maybe just a suggestion? :)

Hey there - just wanted to let you know that the flat view link in part 3 goes to flat view of part 2. :)

fic help

so sorry to bother you but I'm a noob and I wrote a fill to a prompt before I realized that it was closed( it was round one). And after I posted it I realized I forget to put FILL in before the title. So should I post this bad boy some where else or what?

Re: fic help

when a post is closed, it just means closed to new prompts, not new fills. keep it where it's posted - if you want to reply with a link to the comment, i can add it to the delicious so that it's updated.

Help finding a specific post

Hi there
I'm loving this site and have read a lots and lots of stories - and now I really want to find a specific one again, but cannot seem to locate it - I'm hoping you'll be able to help?;) The plot is that Wardo is presumed dead in a plane crash and Mark goes almost insane with grief and isn't able to deal with the situation - but then Dustin drives him to the airport where Wardo meets them as he didn't catch that fatal plane after all, but Mark still belives Wardo is dead and he's just hallucinating, but then it all ends happily:) Oh lord, I'm just too engrossed with thise two boys -- anyway, do you remember seeing this story around? Thanks!

Re: Help finding a specific post

It's on page 25 of part 1 of the meme- it's titled "write it on the skyline."

here's a link!

So, you probably don't know the answer to this and I figure its a it of a long shot, but I am tracking some threads over on the memes, and while some of the notifications work perfectly and show up fine, others just... don't.

For example I am tracking these two threads

and the tracking works fine, shows up in my email and my inbox.

But these three threads

just won't show up anywhere, no matter what I select.

I realise it's unlikely you know why, but maybe you know if someone else is having the same problem, or if maybe there's an option to disable tracking on certain thread or something. I'm going insane about this, so anything anyone could tell me would be much appreciated.

I feel like we ought to have some mods stepping in over here before the situation gets too out of hand:

Just a suggestion - since the first post is nearing 10 000 comments and there are quite a lot of WIPs that are far from finished over there, maybe it'd be a good idea for people to start moving them to the current post? That way, authors will be able to link to the new thread and people will still be able to comment before we reach the comment limit.

there's going to be an overfill post for part one which will then be linked in the same post as part one. i didn't want prompts spread out over too many rounds so it seemed like a better idea to just have an overflow post but if you think it's better to just include them in the new round, i guess we could do that.

hey mod! when is the fill-a-thon happening? i thought it was this weekend, but now i'm thinking i imagined the whole thing :(

hey, mod! lj double posted and then messed up and cut off part of my fill. D: could you please delete these two threads:

i would really appreciate it <3

... and this too please?

i'm sorry for being such a fail anon, omg.

Hey, so we're almost at 10000 comments in part 1. Should we start moving prompts/fills onto part 4 or is there going to be a separate place for these wips?

Apologies if there already has been something set up and I just can't find it.

mod, where's the overflow post? :(

I second this question.

I'm going anon because I don't want to sound stupid, but I've just joined LJ and I'm not sure how to use it :') I found some awesome prompts on this kinkmeme and I've written a few fics for them, but I was wondering how/where I post them in reply to the prompt?
I'm sorry if this is a really dumb question! :')

Reply directly to the prompt. :)
