Re: Second Fill: I'm Always Right (5/5)

This was really good and I loved it! The drama was really well done, and I loved the way that this was in Eduardo's POV, because now I have a Mark POV story and an Eduardo POV story and I could not be happier about it! Mark broke my heart, and so did Eduardo's reactions. I adored the fact that there's inevitably a difference in what Mark and Eduardo feel, because Mark is in love with Eduardo, but Eduardo loved Mark but really doesn't even have the ability to be in love with him. It's all very sad, and, just like leladancer's fic got the feeling of being hopelessly in love with somebody who will never love you the way you love them down, your fic got the feeling of somebody loving you in a way that is impossible to return.

Re: Second Fill: I'm Always Right (5/5)

Hiiiii, OP! :DDDD

Thank you so much! I really try to do drama in a way that it's not overly dramatic, and I felt like the best way to do that here (as well as what fit my style best) was the situation according to Eduardo, so I really, really am so happy you enjoyed that part of it!

Mark was going for that, jsyk. ;)

And Eduardo, yeah. I've been Eduardo and when you're in that situation, there's no right way to act, no words you can say that will balm the sting of the rejection. But I think he did his best, and that's what I wanted to show, that he genuinely feels something for Mark, but not the something Mark feels. Because sometimes it's really that simple -- you just look at a person and cannot even imagine them in that way, never even had or wanted to think of yourself with them, and sexuality does that very easily, too, and for all Eduardo's care-taking and primping ways, he could definitely be taken as a straight boy. :/

Yes, Lela and I did two sides of the same coin, I think, and lucky you, getting both points of view! And I'm so honored that you thought this was worthy of your fabulous prompt! ♥
