quick note; GUYS. please be aware that if you posted a prompt in part six and it is now screened, i have posted them to the post already - so that you guys don't have to. thanks for being patient and making the fill-a-thon such a success!

sorry i didn't get much of delicious done; i lacked the internet over the break but rest assured i have absolutely nothing to do so will get it, hopefully.

IMPORTANT: please DO NOT post prompts about any non-public people as part of a prompt. for example: randi zuckerberg is fine as she is a public figure both on the internet and on facebook itself. priscilla chan is NOT as she is not a public figure.

if you're in doubt, please message the mod or leave a comment in the discussion post.

♥ post requests and responses in the comments to this post.
♥ be respectful.
♥ both a pairing/character AND a prompt/kink must be posted.
♥ one pairing/prompt per comment please.
♥ you are encouraged to try and write a prompt for every request you make.

♥ alphabetize pairings/threesomes/moresomes. (e.g. Eduardo/Mark/Sean etc.)
♥ put [RPF] before RPF prompts. (e.g. [RPF] Andrew/Jesse)
♥ for crossover prompts: "[Crossover], The Social Network Character(s)/Other Character(s), [Fandom]" (e.g. [Crossover], Eduardo/Columbus, [Zombieland])
♥ no "!" in pairings, only in descriptions. (e.g. Eduardo/Mark, FacebookCreator!Eduardo, CFO!Mark)
♥ anyone, everyone, no one? Use "Other." (e.g. Sean/Other)

♥ fills can be posted anonymously or not.

NEW: ♥ PLEASE comment with the first of your fill to the PROMPT and then all future updates as a comment to the FIRST PART of the fill. this makes it easier for both the WIP spreadhseet and for archiving stuff on delicious. it also helps people who are trying to catch up on updates and don't have to look through every fill on the prompt (should it have more than one). thank you.

have fun!

THERE WILL BE UNMARKED SPOILERS. enter at your own risk! :D

i know you guys are enjoying this meme and i appreciate that but please can you put the SUBJECT HEADER on your prompt. you would REALLY be helping me out if you could do that. it just saves time for me when i'm trying to tag everything in delicious.

AND PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT repost prompts from parts three, four, five or six over here again. the delicious is around for people to find prompts they may not have already seen. (prompts for parts one and two are now up for reposting.)

Cameron/Mark, seduction

Cameron decides he's going to win over the smart, snarky, programming freshman he bumps into one day. This turns out to be slightly more difficult than he originally thought, because not only is Mark apparently oblivious to the effect his cheekbones sometimes have on people, but he also manages to completely misinterpret pretty much all of Cameron's advances. So Cameron decides a seduction, all whispered compliments and body heat and thumbs stroking lips is needed.

Mark may be have been oblivious and half convinced Cameron was mocking him or (apparently) flirting with him (Chris had confirmed it was flirting) on some kind of dare, but even he can't ignore that, especially when all of his fantasies have increasingly revolved around letting Cameron do sordid things to him.

Fill - Try,Try Again (1/3)

Disclaimer: Complete fiction. In no way related to the actual persons so named.

Cameron’s preoccupied. He always is after a fight with Tyler. And it’s not like it won’t get resolved. Both of them will calm down and one of them will apologize (Cameron, verbally; Tyler, by buying something for Cameron). It’s just, it doesn’t happen all that often - for two people that have differing opinions on at least half the things that they talk about, they rarely fight. So, Cameron is all up in his head and not paying the strictest attention to where he’s going, which isn't the best idea since the campus is kind of crowded this time of day. Almost inevitably, he runs smack into someone. Cameron almost knocks the guy over, but his hands come up automatically and catch at the guy’s arms and keep him from falling back.

Cameron grimaces. “Sorry, man, I didn’t see you there.”

The guy looks up at him and Cameron gets a quick impression of curls, piercing blue eyes, sharp cheekbones, and full, red lips. “Next time, I’ll try to stand more obviously, shall I?” the guy says sarcastically.

Cameron’s taken aback and takes a moment to think of a reply and by then, the guy has walked off and disappeared among the other students around. His fight with Tyler is no longer foremost in his thought.

Cameron keeps an eye out. Every time he catches sight of anyone with curly brown hair, he has to take a closer look. Tyler doesn’t say anything, but Cameron is pretty sure he’s laughing at Cameron in his head. Cameron doesn’t entirely blame him for that. He wonders if it’s the face or the snark that caught his interest so fast. It’s probably both. It takes a little over a week before Cameron finally spots the right guy.

“Hey, wait,” Cameron calls out.

The guy actually stops and is frowning when Cameron catches up to him.

“Hi,” Cameron says.

“Do you remember me? From last week? I ran into you.”

“I remember.”

“Well, I just wanted to say that I’m sorry again. You didn’t give me much of a chance before.”

Cameron holds out a hand. “I’m Cameron Winklevoss,” he says and gives his most charming smile.

“Wow, could you be any more of a white-bread preppy? Business or Law?”

“That’s a hell of an assumption.”

“Am I wrong?”

Cameron drops his hand. “I’m majoring in Economics.”

The guy just raises his eyebrows.

Cameron sighs. “Okay, fine, I’m majoring in Economics with a view to a graduate degree in Business.”

“Color me surprised.”

“Look, maybe we could get some coffee or something to eat, my treat. As part of my apology.”

The guy looks disbelieving and shakes his head. “I have to get to class,” he says and turns to head off.

“Don’t I even get a name?”

The guy pauses. “Zuckerberg. Mark,” he throws over his shoulder and then he walks away.

That… could have gone better. But, he did get a name. Mark. Mark will definitely be a challenge. Fortunately, Cameron likes challenges.

Fill - Try,Try Again (2/3)

Once he has a name, it’s relatively easy to find out about Mark. Perhaps a little too easy. Maybe Divya had had a point when he’d been talking about privacy concerns with respect to fellow students. Of course, Mark doesn’t seem all that concerned with privacy as he apparently has a fairly popular blog. It seems that other people appreciate Mark’s caustic wit. Although, from what he’s heard, most like it far better online than in person. Anyway, Cameron is able to find out that he’s a CS major and what classes he’s taking with only minimal poking around.

Cameron waits for Mark after one of his classes. Mark frowns when he catches sight of Cameron, which doesn’t seem to bode well. When Mark gets close enough, Cameron starts to apologize again, but Mark cuts him off, “This is getting a bit ridiculous, don’t you think? I accept you’re apology, okay? You don’t have to follow me around.”

“Follow you around?” Cameron asks, confused.

“I saw you three times yesterday.”

“You did?”

“I saw you near the Science Center, a few minutes later by Widener, and then by Lowell. You show up three places within minutes of me – it seems suspiciously coincidental.”

“That does seem suspect, I admit, but it wasn’t actually me you saw a couple of those times.”

“So, what? You’ve been cloned?”

“No, actually, I have an identical twin.”

“Uh-huh,” Mark says skeptically.

“No, really. His name is Tyler. You can look it up,” Cameron says with a smile.

“You have an identical twin and he also goes to Harvard. Does he major in Economics too?”

“Um, yeah.” Cameron sighs and figures he better get this out of the way now. “We also row crew together,” Cameron says and braces himself for the sarcasm he’s sure is coming.

“Of course you do. Of course you row crew. Why wouldn’t you? It’s as if someone set out to make the perfect Ivy Leaguer. And the only way to top that was to make two.”

“It isn’t like that.”

“Isn’t it?”

“We just- It’s-“

“If I looked just like someone, I think I would go out of my way to make sure everyone knew how different we were from each other.”

“We went through a stage like that. But we realized that it didn’t really matter. Of course there are going to be people who don’t bother to distinguish between us. Those are the people that we don’t usually bother with. We are different and we know it and so do the people who care about us. And as different as we are, we’ve also got a hell of a lot in common.”

Mark snorts out a half-laugh.

Cameron smiles, pleased. He decides that now might be a good time to try his luck. “Now, I’m glad that you accept my apology. But I’d also like to take you out to eat.”

“Why what?”

“Why me?”

“I like you.”

“That’s not funny. I don’t know exactly what kind of game you’re playing or why you seem set on me as the punchline to your joke, but I’d appreciate it if you left me out of it,” Mark says tightly and then turns and stalks off.

Cameron watches in stunned silence as he goes. He’s not sure how it had gone so badly. He doesn’t think it could have gone worse if he’d tried.

Fill - Try,Try Again (3/3)

Cameron is ready the next day. He waits for Mark to exit his classroom and then pulls him into an empty one he’d scouted out earlier. Mark starts to say something, but Cameron holds up his hands. “Wait, wait, before you say anything, I would like a chance to explain. If, after you hear me out, you want me to go, I won’t bother you ever again. Okay?”

Mark looks considering and then slowly nods.

“Okay. I think we got our signals crossed here. If anything I said or did gave you the impression that this was a game or a prank or something, I’m sorry.”

“Yeah, Chris said it probably wasn’t, that you probably meant it.”

“Well, Chris, whoever he is, was right.”

“Chris is a friend of mine. I guess I shouldn’t have assumed. I-“

“No, you shouldn’t have. But I wasn’t finished. You want to know why you?”

Mark nods.

Cameron steps in closer to Mark. Mark doesn’t step back, just looks up at him. Cameron smiles and then leans in close to Mark’s left ear and softly says, “In case you missed it, I have been trying to get you to go out on a date with me. I like you. I like the way you use your words like weapons.” He leans back, then he brings his hands up to Mark’s face and lets his fingers curl around Mark’s neck, lets his thumbs rest lightly on Mark’s cheeks. He rubs his thumbs gently over Mark’s cheekbones and says, “I like your cheekbones and your eyes and I could almost swear I saw dimples once. I like your snark and how you don’t back down.” Cameron moves his right thumb down so that it’s delicately sweeping over Mark’s lips. “I would very much like to kiss your really very nice lips.”

Mark’s eyes go a little wide, but he doesn’t say anything.

Cameron lets his hands drop, disappointed. He steps back and rubs a hand over the back of his neck, a little embarrassed now. “Ah, well. Can’t blame a guy for trying. Sorry.” He turns to leave.

“I’m really bad at this. At relating to people,” Mark says haltingly.

Cameron turns back. “Sorry?”

“Wow, you say that a lot.”

“What, sorry? Yeah, I do. My mother taught me that I should never be afraid to say that I was sorry and I was an excellent student.”

“I’m bad at that, too. Apologizing.”

“Somehow, I had a feeling.”

“You talk like that to everyone you want to go out with?”

“Never. You’re just that special. Besides, the softly, softly approach didn’t really seem to work.”

“Well, I wouldn’t necessarily say that.”

Cameron perks up. “Oh, yeah, what would you say?”

“Like I said, I’m not good at people, but I guess, knowing that, if you really still want to go out, that would be acceptable.”

“Enthusiastic,” Cameron says sarcastically.

Mark rolls his eyes.

Cameron chuckles.

“And, um, that other thing you mentioned, that might be okay, too.”

“Other thing?”

Mark gives him an unimpressed look.

“Oh, the kissing.”

“Yes, that. Do you really think…” Mark trails off and brings his hand up to his mouth, but then lets it drop before it makes contact. He shakes his head. “Never mind.”

“Yes, I do think your lips are very nice.”

“Um, oh,” Mark says as his cheeks go a little pink.

Cameron’s fascinated by the blushing and amused at how annoyed Mark seems to be at himself for doing it. Cameron steps in close again. Mark looks up at him and raises an eyebrow in challenge. Cameron grins and leans down and touches his lips gently to Mark’s and then pulls back a little, then he does it again and again. Little, barely there kisses. Until Mark reaches up with his hands and grips Cameron’s shirt and holds him there and deepens the last kiss himself. Cameron smiles into the kiss.

Re: Fill - Try,Try Again (3/3)

Very cute! Would love to see the reactions of others to this pairing. Sequel?

Re: Fill - Try,Try Again (3/3)

Thank you! I doubt I’ll be doing a sequel, but reactions I can give you: Tyler doesn’t much like it, but Cameron’s (generally) happy, so he puts up with it. Divya thinks it’s a little bizarre, but mostly just accepts it. Dustin thinks it’s awesome, mostly because Cameron invites them cool places (and he’s really nice). Chris is slightly wary, but as long as Cameron doesn’t hurt Mark, he’s happy for them (although, sometimes, he gets a little exasperated with Mark thinking Chris has all the answers when it comes to gay relationships - seriously, he doesn’t need to know anything about Mark’s sex life, at all, ever). Eduardo still doesn’t know how he feels about it, but he and Cameron have a lot in common which mostly gets them past any awkwardness.

Re: Fill - Try,Try Again (3/3)

OMG why does this not have more comments? It's so good, and I usually hate anything other than mark/eduardo. Loved it. Nice job!

Re: Fill - Try,Try Again (3/3)

Thanks! These two can be surprisingly sweet together, can't they?
