sorry about the delay in getting this up! please put all new prompts here.

IMPORTANT: please DO NOT post prompts about any non-public people as part of a prompt. for example: randi zuckerberg is fine as she is a public figure both on the internet and on facebook itself. priscilla chan is NOT as she is not a public figure.

if you're in doubt, please message the mod or leave a comment in the discussion post.

♥ post requests and responses in the comments to this post.
♥ be respectful.
♥ both a pairing/character AND a prompt/kink must be posted.
♥ one pairing/prompt per comment please.
♥ you are encouraged to try and write a prompt for every request you make.
♥ we are slash, femslash, het, three-and-moresomes etc. friendly. (we are even incest friendly what with some of our characters being twins and all...)
♥ no pairing bashing, OK? no need to wank over ships.
♥ long and short fics welcome. multiple responses encouraged!
♥ please try to refrain from saying 'seconded!' as much as possible.
♥ on RPF: Please disclaim that it is RPF, a work of fiction and in no way related to the actual actors/persons/etc. (i wouldn't even try and discourage RPF from this meme ;))

♥ alphabetize pairings/threesomes/moresomes. (e.g. Eduardo/Mark/Sean etc.)
♥ put [RPF] before RPF prompts. (e.g. [RPF] Andrew/Jesse)
♥ for crossover prompts: "[Crossover], The Social Network Character(s)/Other Character(s), [Fandom]" (e.g. [Crossover], Eduardo/Columbus, [Zombieland])
♥ no "!" in pairings, only in descriptions. (e.g. Eduardo/Mark, FacebookCreator!Eduardo, CFO!Mark)
♥ anyone, everyone, no one? Use "Other." (e.g. Sean/Other)
♥ put [GEN] before GEN prompts.

♥ please don't embed. link to images/videos.
♥ no locked material. this includes communities, even if membership is open.
♥ fills can be posted anonymously or not.
♥ fills can be anything: fic, art, vid, fanmix, podfic, etc.
♥ all prompts are open to fills at all times, even if they have been filled in the past or are being currently filled by someone else. multiple fills are positively encouraged; if something appeals to you then do not be put off creating a new fill by the existence of a prior one.
NEW: ♥ PLEASE comment with the first of your fill to the PROMPT and then all future updates as a comment to the FIRST PART of the fill. this makes it easier for both the WIP spreadhseet and for archiving stuff on delicious. it also helps people who are trying to catch up on updates and don't have to look through every fill on the prompt (should it have more than one). thank you.

have fun!

THERE WILL BE UNMARKED SPOILERS. enter at your own risk! :D

i know you guys are enjoying this meme and i appreciate that but please can you put the SUBJECT HEADER on your prompt. you would REALLY be helping me out if you could do that. it just saves time for me when i'm trying to tag everything in delicious.

AND PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT repost prompts from parts three, four, five or six over here again. the delicious is around for people to find prompts they may not have already seen. (prompts for parts one and two are now up for reposting.)

Eduardo/Mark Chris/Dustin ghost!Eduardo and ghost!Mark

This might be a little weird. Recently I watched a TV show called American Horror Story, and I keep thinking of how to put the four of them into a haunted house story.

So let's say Chris and Dustin, a newly married couple, bought a cheaper house and just moved in. There they met previous owner, ghost!Eduardo and ghost!Mark. Several years ago Eduardo and Mark had a fight about business decision and unfortunately both of them died in a accident or whatever. Anyway they died before reaching reconciliation. They still stay in the house, but they avoid from seeing each other. I'd like to see a happy ending ;)

mmkay, guys. bear with me, this is my first time posting and the first fic i've written for the fandom. also this story looks like its going to be an angsty romantic comedy, hope that's okay with you, op.

It’s only nine o’clock at night, but somehow it’s already dark outside, and Dustin is tired, he really is. Nine straight hours of moving boxes and lifting furniture and rooting through about fifteen bags just to find a toothbrush…yeah, Dustin is tired. And he would be asleep, but. The couch they’re sleeping on for the night is a little small, and…Chris is distracting him, just by being there, wandering around the new living room- their new living room- with a beer in one hand, trailing his fingers along the bare wall.

It’s their first night in Washington, but already Chris seems brighter, buoyed by the excitement and the energy of the city. Dustin can tell that his nerves about the new job have settled, and, well, Dustin’s nerves have mostly settled too. Their new townhouse is beautiful, a sunny and spacious on an actual tree-lined street, with plenty of space and minimal plumbing issues. To be honest, Dustin doesn’t quite know how they managed to afford it. Chris can’t tell either, if the smile he shoots Dustin is any indication.

“I know,” says Dustin, grinning back, and he sits up off the couch just enough to grab Chris’ hand and pull him down into the cushions.

They end up making out slowly and lazily, in a way they haven’t done in a while, tongues tangling and sliding past each other, slick and smooth. Chris brushes his fingers along Dustin’s side, and Dustin breaks the kiss to let out an undignified giggle, which quickly turns into an equally undignified moan as Chris sucks a bruise along the side of his neck.

They can be as loud as they want, Dustin reasons. It’s not like they’re in college anymore, or living in that tiny New York apartment with paper-thin walls. No, they have their own house now, and if Dustin wants to moan because his super-hot boyfriend is has decided to give him a hickey, well, he can do exactly that. Chris seems to have this same idea as well, and is making these little noises, low and gasping and extremely fucking hot.

Dustin is wired into Chris, which is why it takes him a moment to process that something is wrong when he hears a loud cough somewhere to his left. A little dazed, Dustin turns his head to see…well. He’s not sure exactly.

There’s this guy standing there, hands thrust into his hoodie pockets and features arranged in a fierce scowl. Only, he's a little fuzzy, and Dustin can see the outline of some of their boxes through this new guy, so. That’s not right.

“I’d really appreciate it if the two of you would keep it down,” says the transparent person, but Dustin doesn’t think he sounds very sincere.

It’s quiet for a moment, and the hoodie-clad intruder rolls his eyes, but doesn’t make any move to leave.

Then: “I’m Chris,” Chris almost-whispers, and this is why Dustin loves him.

“Mark,” says the being, nodding at them curtly, and Dustin can now see that this guy’s feet are hovering a few inches off the ground.

Also, he’s wearing flip-flops. With socks.

“It’s too cold for flip-flops,” says Dustin, but Mark just glares at him before turning on his heel, and, well, dissolving.

There’s another moment of quiet, and Chris rests his head on Dustin’s chest.

“This is why we got the house so cheap,” says Chris faintly, voice muffled by Dustin’s shirt.

“I don’t mind ghosts,” says Dustin.

And so that’s that.

Re: lay heavy on your soul, 1/?

I LOVE THIS it is great and adorable and great and I can't wait for more!

Re: lay heavy on your soul, 1/?

ahahaha i love how they don't mind that they have ghosts. xD

Re: lay heavy on your soul, 1/?

fantastic xD!!! (awww, and the second part is also so good!)

lay heavy on your soul, 2/?

The next morning, while Dustin is out getting bagels, Chris opens the fridge to get out the juice (all they have right now is orange-banana-strawberry juice, a rotisserie chicken, and cool whip) and when he closes the door, there’s a person standing behind it. Well, another deceased person behind it. Another ghost, if you wanted to be really particular about it.

This one is wearing a button-down and dress pants, and at least has the decency to look apologetic when Chris drops the juice carton and the whole thing explodes. There’s orange, fruity-smelling liquid everywhere, including on Chris’ new first-day-of-work shirt.

“I’m so sorry,” Ghost #2 pronounces as he makes an aborted motion towards the carton. “I keep- I’m sorry. I forget, I mean. Sorry.”

“It’s okay,” says Chris, wringing out his tie, because the ghost really does seem sorry.

“I just. I had an apology, and now I have two, and this isn’t going as planned,” worries the ghost, playing with the ring on his translucent finger. “I’m Eduardo,” he says with a wry smile, adding, “I would shake your hand, but I can’t.”

“Hmm,” hums Chris. There really isn’t much to say to that.

“Anyway,” continues Eduardo, apparently more at ease, “I wanted to apologize for Mark last night.”

Chris blushes. “You were there for that too, then?”

Eduardo shakes his head, looking away from Chris and fixing his gaze on the floor. “No, I just assumed. He did that to the last couple who moved in, and the family before that. The first night is always the worst. It’s also usually the last…” Eduardo trails off, looking a tad uncertain.

“We’re not leaving,” says Chris in response to Eduardo’s unspoken prompt.

“Oh,” says Eduardo. “Oh! That’s, well, that’s great,” but he looks a tad distraught, and the lights flicker a little.

“Well,” says Chris, at a loss. “Tell Mark we’ll keep it quiet, but we’re not planning on moving out.”

“I-“ stutters Eduardo, eyes suddenly wide, backing away through the breakfast island. “I can’t do that.”

“What? Why?” asks Chris, and then mentally smacks himself. What a stupid thing to say, it’s obviously a sensitive subject. Eduardo shouldn’t have to explain himself, not when he and Dustin are so obviously messing up what had been a finely balanced relationship.

“We’re not speaking,” says Eduardo from the other side of the kitchen, moving out of the room. He pauses, though, reacting to Chris’ bewildered expression, “He’s my, um, he’s my best friend, and we’re not speaking. And I try to avoid him,” Eduardo adds before backing all the way out the door and disappearing into the living room, leaving Chris with an orange-splattered shirt and in a state of utter confusion.

Dustin is very interested in this latest development when Chris tells him about it that night over dinner.

“They’re obviously here because they need to talk!” Dustin yells, waving his chopsticks, noodles flying everywhere. “Their souls have been denied a place in the afterlife! And it’s all because they’re in a stupid fight!”

“Oh god,” says Chris, because he knows what’s coming next.

“We should have a séance!” shouts Dustin, and a piece of lo mein lands on Chris’ nose.

Apologies, but I have moved this part of your fill to the appropriate place.

To follow the posting format guidelines, please reply to your part 1 to post part 2, 3, etc.

Re: lay heavy on your soul, 2/?

This is absolutely adorable and I love it--checking every day to see that there's more! The idea of their two ghosts lurking in the house is just hilarious and sweet and romantic. And Chris/Dustin is my absolute favorite. They are so cute and drama free together!

Re: lay heavy on your soul, 2/?

ahahahah i sense major interfering and meddling from dustin (and him coercing chris into helping him) in the future :DDD

Re: lay heavy on your soul, 2/?

this is so great! i really hope there will be another update soon!

Re: lay heavy on your soul, 2/?
